Boko Haram terrorists, pretending(?) to be worshippers detonated two bombs in a mosque early this morning in Gubio town, Borno state. They killed 12 persons and injured many others. Despite the claims of the Nigerian army, and president Buhari's promise to curtail the terrorists, the insurgents are getting bolder in their suicide attack campaigns and recently detonated several bombs in the capital city of Abuja.
I have always maintained that the Boko Haram terrorists are muslims, and these latest attacks in a mosque will seem to validate the argument that they are not muslims since all the casualties were muslims. Boko Haram wants to islamize Nigeria, and anyone, muslim or infidel, who is not for them is against them. Terrorism as a weapon is very effective. The people of Gubio will either beef up security during prayers, or suspend such gatherings for the time being. Either way, they will be acting out of fear.

These terror attacks will continue (I do not want them to) until the Nigerian authorities realize that this war against Boko Haram is a war against islam. Is this really a war they want to fight? Is it any surprise that they are not winning it?
